wow glada i watched the video i thought there were ACTUAL problems with it. glad to see by the video and the comments that everyone loves theirs and has been great. im late the alien party but i wanted something ubiquity. as most other routers were so weird looking, and bulky with 8 antenna sometimes, sticking out.

The Series S was never intended to be an upgrade to the One X. It's pretty genius how Microsoft handled the naming. They assumed people with a One X would want the biggest and best. So they released the Series X. They assumed owners of the One S would be ok with some compromises in performance so it's upgrade was called the Series S. Couldn't be easier to understand. If the name has an X in it it's does 4k and is the best console Xbox has to offer from that generation. If the name has an S in it isn't 4k but has upscaling and makes other performance compromises. But the naming schemes are so similar from last gen to this gen so owners of Xbox One consoles could know which offering was intended to be their upgrade.

Got pranked on this even three years later. But for anyone else, You NEVER start the bidding for less than you are willing to accept. Getting ready to sell a series x, and may just put it on as a buy it now so that the person has to pay instantly and don’t have to worry about it.

Picked up a one X for $100. I think the previous owner noticed it ran hot and it shut off on me a couple times in the cabinet. Added new thermal pads and cpu thernal paste.. gave me an excuse to get a larger ssd for my PC and tossed in the old 1tb ssd. Runs cool, loads quick and plays games in 4k. Underrated system for sure. Re3 looks better on xbox with my 4k tv than it dows maxed out with ray tracing on my beefed up PC at 2k res 🤷‍♂️. Would have considered the series S if it came with at least a TB. 512gb is criminal. Plus the 4k blu ray drive.. dont use it much but it's still a benefit and for 1/3 the price.. no brainer.

I have the wireless ones and love them. Got my son the wired because he never charges his. The sound profile is completely different, does not do Microsoft spatial audio, and does not support the Dolby Atmos Codec either. The wired is just a stereo headset. The atoms is wheres its at. It adds big sound and more EQ adjustment. Just some info that's not in this video.

Got the one x for my wife, to play sims 4. $100 and a can of air later, shes got better graphics than my series s 😢

I been using Alien for last 3 years unfortunately I am having an issue one day no WiFi in home upon connected with support I have find out my wifi antennas gone which really surprised me I have spent 389 euro to get my Alien and the reason to get this only reviews about it and I was thinking this is proper company who have been doing really good in network technology but soon I realised they are third class people as they said to me and informed me that you are out of warranty and we don’t do hardware replace so basically through your 389 euro into bin after just 2 year and 7 months of use I was really surprised a company of this size have no department or ethics to deal this kind of issue after this experience now it’s depend on you all if you want business with them people I say good luck because if problem arise then you will understand what kind of third class approach they have to deal with issues like I have my mission is spread mouth of word everywhere about them people I am going to warn everyone stay away and soon I am going share all screen short of thier response to me and all unsuccessful RMA responses they write to me it’s ridiculous and rip off.

Should you upgrade from an Xbox One X to a series S the answer is no you should not

Long story short, the Xbox One X is just superior for gaming it is actually more powerful with this drive. Yeah it’s the previous generation console. Previous generation consoles have always been a good cheap budget alternative and a lot of people actually stick with the previous generation console for a couple of years even after the new one has come out so it’s not even a question is the previous generation consul any good? Yeah of course, it’s good People have been doing that for years, just sticking with the previous generation console until they can’t is really normal very very normal.

Can I use Samsung T7 SSD for both storing documents and other media files as well as for storing Xbox games(for plug and Play)at the same time? Or it must be formatted for only one purpose either gaming or storing media?

Unfortunately I don't have an internet connection through an isp, just my phone so I'd have to tether/hotspot and use up all my data for a series s/x so it's not an option for me. Even the series X games more than often required a large download to work properly or even sometimes to just fully install from disc. I'd rather play my one X with 4k HDR and not have to worry so much about downloads. If MS made it possible to install games from USB onto the series s then I could go to a friend's house and download some onto an external drive I suppose. I can't pass a UK credit check as I am not a citizen and can't go on the electoral roll :(

If you decide to buy a xbox, go with series s, because it's a New console. But I don't think it's a good idea buy a series s to replace an one x.
